The Consumers Choice Award survey consists of an initial polling of 1000 random participants across the Edmonton area asking who they would recommend for particular services.
The top six candidates in each category participate in a second survey that picks the very best company within each category. This selection is made with input from 600 local businesses.
The winner of this survey becomes the Consumer Choice Award Winner for their category for the survey year. Winning Edmonton businesses are honored at a Gala held at the Shaw Convention Center on October 6, 2011.
The Consumers Choice Award was established in 1987. This is the only organization in North America to recognize business excellence by conducting research with both the consumer and business community to ensure statistical accuracy.
